Yes. If you don't have a doctor who will order your Reveal scan, you can consult with a licensed physician within our network, at no cost to you, and receive an order. This is to ensure that any potentially serious medical findings can be discussed and contextualized with a licensed medical professional.
It depends on what kind of implant and which model you have implanted. Many newer implants are MRI-safe or have an optional MRI mode that it can be set to prior to your scan. However, some implants are absolutely problematic because of the powerful magnetic field of the scanner. Please contact us prior to booking your scan to determine if you are elligble for an MRI.
A board-certified Radiologist does. That means a licensed physician specially trained in MRI and other radiology examinations, like x-ray, CT, and ultrasound. The Radiologists who will read your images are certified and licensed in the state where your Reveal Scan was conducted.
